Internally Very Good with hinges and binding holding well, no significant damage to contents, just some soiling to the first few pages. Fragile leather covers show some wear, mostly to base of spine and rear panel, also some staining. An attractive copy of this very rare publication. Images upon request. Fair.

Toronto, Briggs, 1904. 1st. Hardcover. First printing. Pp. vii, 8-227, frontis plate of Hathaway Bay, 7 plates, octavo format in green buckram with photo paste-down, gilt rules and titles. A very attractive little book. Neat owner's name dated 1907. Cloth is lightly worn at tips with bright gilt, front paste-down is lightly worn with small chip from edge. Binding firm with original endpapers, no sign of repair. Contents clean. The frontis plate appears to have some smudged ink from the printing process affecting just the bottom 3/4" of the image. A very attractive copy of this scarce Canadiana item. Very Good.

First printing. 288 pp. frontis port. with tissue guard, chromolithograph plates with tissue guards, small quarto in original green morocco-grain cloth and gilt decorations, aeg. A complete, original copy with all contents, endpapers and binding present. Both hinges are split, with the contents loose within the covers. However, the binding is in excellent, unfaded condition with only minor wear to tips. Certainly a worthy candidate for repair. "C. W. Spencer with compliments of Publisher" inscribed on the front blank leaf in attractive 19th century calligraphic hand. The inscribeed may have been C. W. Spencer Manager of the Eastern Division of the CPR. Poor.
